Hello! My name is Kailyn, and I truly appreciate your interest in getting to know me. I’m currently studying at Middle Tennessee State University, where I’m on track to graduate in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Merchandising, and Apparel Design. My degree reflects my passion for creativity and my enthusiasm for turning innovative ideas into tangible designs.

However, my proudest accomplishments are my two amazing boys, who inspire me every day alongside my supportive husband. They’re the driving force behind everything I do. My aim is to graduate with the skills and experiences I need for my profession while also being there for my family.

In my work within apparel design, I aspire to create clothing that makes consumers feel relaxed and confident. I’m especially committed to designing clothing for children with special needs, whether they need assistance getting dressed or have sensitivities like eczema that require specific considerations.

As I work toward my degree, my goal is to merge my creative vision with practical skills that will enable me to make a positive impact in the fashion industry, particularly for children with special needs. Balancing my educational pursuits with being a devoted mother and wife is challenging, but it fuels my determination to succeed and create clothing that enhances comfort and confidence for all. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my aspirations and values!

My name is Abigail Linville, and I am a senior at MTSU, graduating in May 2026. Originally from Lafayette, Tennessee, I graduated from Macon County High School in May 2022 and am majoring in Apparel Design with minors in Theatre and Music. I am also involved in the Band of Blue here at MTSU, and I play oboe in the School of Music. I love fashion and cannot wait to work in the industry. I would love to have my own fashion house someday! I have become a great seamstress, skilled in a variety of applications, and am known for my precision. I also have strong computer-aided design skills, proficient in technical flats and aesthetically pleasing graphic design. I’m excited to be working in the Historic Costume Collection because it’s an amazing opportunity to learn even more about fashion history!
